I had a hard time forking out $110 for this carrier. But after reading a ton of reviews I decided it would be worth it. I truly do love this carrier. I wear it almost daily with my 7.5 month old. It is so comfortable, I can barely feel the weight of my 20lb son in there. It also fits my 28lb 4 year old pretty well. I love how it can fit me and my husband, we are 2 different sized people and it fits us both wonderfully.

I bought this carrier on a recommendation from a friend and I could not be more satisfied. I started using the carrier with my 6 week old and have continued to use it as she grows. I bought it because I had not decided on a double stroller yet and I needed a way to go for walks with my newborn and toddler. I also bought the heart to heart infant insert and I think it is a must if you have an infant. My daughter falls asleep almost immediately after I start walking and she stays asleep the entire time. My back felt sore the first few times, but it was muscle soreness not back pain. Now do not feel sore at all which means I have actually gotten stronger using the Ergo carrier! I will say that if you have an infant that does not like to be confined or swaddled, I think he/she will not like this carrier. My son would have hated it.

I bought this carrier when my son was 10 months old.
I love that this carrier is both a front wearing and back wearing carrier. It is easy to adjuct for different people to wear and very comfortable. I have several other carriers/wraps and this one by and far has the best distribution of weight.
When I opened the box I was really impressed with the quality of this piece. I know high quality is what you'd expect of anything that costs $110 but there was not a stray strand anywhere on this carrier. The stars are beautiful. Everything feels very well made.
I was able to adjust this carrier to my body very easily and carry my (20 pound) son around with no problem. He even had space to wiggle but not enough that I felt he was unsafe. I was also able to readjust this carrier to fit my husband for baby wearing in a few minutes.
I also like that this carrier has a small zippered pocket large enough to carry a diaper or a wallet.
I would recommend this baby carrier to anyone considering getting one. This is the top of the line baby carrier. |
Easiest Carrier out there!

This is my 5th carrier, and by far my favorite. I have a peanut shell, new native, chicco, and a moby. I bought this one because I found the sling carriers to difficult to position my newborn so his chin wasn't touching his chest (to avoid positional asphyxiation). The chicco is a front carrier that was ok, but it started hurting my back after 10 minutes (and it was hard to slip him in and out). This carrier is perfect! Its SUPER easy to slip on and off, with the insert my son is safe and secure and we both can feel comfortable for much longer periods of time. I'm taking a plane trip with my newborn alone, and I needed something that would be easy for me to navigate the airport easily by myself and with luggage, and this fits the bill. I can see myself using this for a long time to come. I also like that my husband can use it too (with the waist extender belt)--if he can pry it from me :)
LOVE this carrier!

I was given the infantino carrier as a gift at my shower. I liked it at first, as my son LOVES to be in a front pack, but by the time he was 4-5 weeks my back was killing me. I did a lot of research and decided to give the Ergo a try! This pattern is so cute and my back no longer hurts. I HIGHLY recommend this carrier. I absolutely love it, and without it, I would never get anything done! My son loves it too as it keeps him close and comfortable. The only thing I would say is if you have a newborn and need the infant insert like I did, make sure to keep your baby in a thin onesy as they will get hot really quickly in the summer time.
